The Republicans Admit: They Have NO Evidence of Wrongdoing By Joe Biden

That’s all they have — the GOP continues to push out phony scandals.

I recently wrote a piece in which I demonstrated that the Republican Party has made up phony “scandals” about Democrats since 1992. The pattern is that the Republicans push out a phony “scandal” and predict that some prominent Democrat will be going to prison. The “liberal” mainstream media follows the GOP party line and writes stories about how the phony “scandal” allegedly casts a shadow over the likes of Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama and Joe Biden. The Democrats are always investigated by one or more Republican special prosecutors and end up being charged with nothing. After that, the GOP moves on to the next phony “scandal.” Rinse. Repeat.

As I discussed in my post recent post about this pattern, the Republicans are obsessed with Hunter Biden and falsely claim that Joe Biden was essentially his business partner and they allegedly took tens of millions of dollars in bribes from foreign nationals. The problem for the GOP is that they don’t have any evidence that Joe Biden was involved in Hunter’s business transactions and took any bribes.

The Republicans recently told us that Devon Archer — Hunter’s former business partner — was going to spill the beans on Joe and prove all of their conspiracy theories. As it turned out, Archer’s sworn testimony in front of a House committee turned out to be a big dud for the GOP.

Archer testified that Hunter put Joe, the the then vice president, on speakerphone during some meetings with his business associates. Archer testified that business was never discussed and that Joe merely exchanged banal pleasantries with Hunter’s partners.

In addition, Archer testified that he had “no knowledge” of whether Joe Biden changed any U.S. foreign policy while he was vice president to benefit Hunter. When flat-out asked if he is aware of any wrongdoing by the then-vice president, Archer testified: “No, I’m not aware of any.”

Archer also testified he had no direct knowledge of Joe having any involvement with Burisma, the Ukrainian company Hunter and Archer served on the board of. Mr. Archer also couldn’t corroborate the GOP’s phony allegations that Burisma paid $10 million in bribes to Joe and Hunter Biden.

Representative Nick Langworthy (R-NY) made a failed attempt to defend the GOP investigation into Joe Biden’s alleged corruption — only to end up admitting in a Fox “News” interview that they still don’t have any evidence.

GILLIAN TURNER: A smoking gun hasn’t been produced. What do you say to that?

LANGWORTHY: Well, we’ve never claimed that we have direct money going to the president.

TURNER: But that’s precisely what Jordan and Comer have said many times

Fox entertainer Gillian Turner pointed out that Republicans have yet to produce “a smoking gun: clear-cut, undeniable proof of the president’s involvement.” Langworthy’s cringe worthy interview reveals the truth: Republicans have nothing whatsoever on Joe Biden.

Representative James Comer (R-KY) tried to remedy this deficiency by contending that the House GOP doesn’t need to find direct payments to Joe to prove corruption. Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) even argued that the GOP’s non-existent case against Joe Biden would still have merit, even if he didn’t “take a dime.” That sounds like something out of the USSR. Has it really come to this for the GOP?

The “liberal” mainstream media has responded to this phony scandal by drawing a false equivalence between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. That is simply outrageous. There is absolutely no evidence of any wrongdoing by President Biden. In contrast, Donald Trump has been indicted four times for attempting to steal the 2020 election. America has the dumbest press in the free world.

In addition, Donald Trump and Hunter Biden are not comparable cases. Hunter Biden is not a public figure and will never be a public figure. He is a private citizen. And the evidence against Hunter in no way equates to absconding with classified documents about nuclear secrets or trying to steal the 2020 election in order to hold onto power.

The Republicans have persuaded me. I’m not voting for Hunter Biden in 2024. It’s settled. In addition, I’ve come to the realization that neither Hunter Biden or Donald Trump should be elected President in 2024. In this respect, the mainstream media’s idiotic both sides arguments makes sense.

“Let’s admit that every reporter in DC knows but most won’t say for fear of falling out of favor with the both sides rules of official DC: there is a two-tiered Justice System. One for Democrats, in which the most exacting focus on conflicts of interest are followed, often going …well beyond not only what the law or established norms require but sometimes even basic logic. Meanwhile for Republicans most of these rules simply don’t apply. Ever.” Josh Marshall.

“Once more inexcusable , ridiculous hype about Hunter Biden in false equivalence display. Thank God democracy doesn’t depend ENTIRELY on mainstream media.” Jennifer Rubin. Most voters pay very little attention to the vapid mainstream media and don’t buy into their continuing journalistic malpractice.

The GOP has pushed out phony scandals for votes and money for over thirty years. Republican voters should be more skeptical about people who have lied to them since 1992. The GOP has found nothing since Clinton’s affair with Lewinsky — which was the high water mark of GOP oversight.

The Republicans want to make stuff up because they don’t want the 2024 election to be decided on the issue of the economy. We are better off now than we were two and a half years ago. Prices rose 3 percent in comparison with last year, the smallest 12-month increase since March 2021.

Unemployment rates in the US have been below 4% for 16 months in a row. This is the longest stretch of unemployment this low since the 1960s.

The GOP told us that it was “Morning in America” in 1984 when unemployment was 7.3% and inflation was 4%. It’s “Morning in America” in 2023. Unemployment is 3.7% and inflation is 3%.

The Republicans also want to avoid talking about abortion and their crusade to take away our freedoms. Ohio is just the latest red state to vote for the constitutional right to an abortion since the GOP controlled Supreme Court threw out Roe v. Wade. “Since Dobbs, voters haven’t approved abortion restrictions in ANY STATE. They’ve rejected abortion restrictions in Kentucky, Montana, Michigan, Kansas, Vermont and California … and now, Ohio.” Ann Coulter.

Due to voter outrage over the loss of their freedoms and liberties, the Democrats have been over performing by 10 points in the thirty eight special elections in 2023. The Republicans haven’t had a good election cycle since Roe was overturned. Don’t just look at the polls — look at special election results. Voters hate it when you take away their freedoms.

Don’t take this progress for granted. In 2000 and 2016, some of us were complacent and stayed home or voted third party. The last two Republican presidents destroyed their predecessors’ progress and presided over deep recessions. We can’t let that happen again. The Republicans are dangerous when they are in power.

The choice in 2024 is America or the MAGA Republicans. Choose wisely. Now let’s get it done!
