Trump Isn’t A Well Man — He Should Resign Now!

Covid-19 is now killing about as many people each day in FL as it is in the whole EU, which has 20 times as many people

Let’s begin with the corona virus situation in other countries. Here are new case totals from July 13 from a few of our peer countries:

France: 580
UK: 564
Spain: 546
Germany: 365
Canada: 299
Japan: 259
Italy: 200
Australia: 158
South Korea: 52
And the United States? 55,300.

Trump’s performance at the July 14 press conference was bizarre and will feed into growing concerns about the deteriorating state of his mental health. Here are a few of the alarming excerpts:

“ I went to Maine a number of times, where we just freed up lobster fishing and fishing. They took away 5,000 square miles from Maine. I just opened it up and I just got rid of tariffs in China. And we’re working on European Union, which charge our fishermen tariffs, and I said, “You’re not going to do that.” So we freed it up for Maine, but if you take a look, we went up there recently. There were crowds; thousands of people lined up going over to a factory where we were opening up for . . . We’re making swabs. A beautiful big, new factory making swabs.”

In discussing cooperation agreements with Central American countries to stop illegal immigration, he had this to say:

‘We have great agreements where when Biden and Obama used to bring killers out, they would say don’t bring them back to our country, we don’t want them. Well, we have to, we don’t want them. They wouldn’t take them. Now with us, they take them. Someday, I’ll tell you why. Someday, I’ll tell you why.

“‘But they take them and they take them very gladly. They used to bring them out and they wouldn’t even let the airplanes land if they brought them back by airplanes. They wouldn’t let the buses into their country. They said we don’t want them. Said no, but they entered our country illegally and they’re murderers, they’re killers in some cases.’”

Trump claimed that Biden would get rid of windows if elected and later said that Mr. Biden would “abolish the suburbs.”

This weird performance on July 14 follows on the heels of Trump’s incoherent answer to a softball question from a close political ally and friend about a potential second term agenda.

“What’s at stake in this election as you compare and contrast, and what are your top priority items for a second term?” Sean Hannity asked.

“One of the things that will be really great — you know, the word experience is still good. I always say talent is more important than experience. I’ve always said that. But the word experience is a very important word. It’s a very important meaning. I never did this before. I never slept over in Washington. I was in Washington I think 17 times — all of a sudden I’m president of the United States. You know the story. I’m riding down Pennsylvania Avenue with our first lady, and I say, This is great. Now I know everybody. And I have great people in the administration. You make some mistakes, like, you know, an idiot like Bolton — all he wanted to do is drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to drop bombs on everybody. You don’t have to kill people.”

If Trump was a close family member, we would be taking him to the doctor for a checkup and some testing. It’s evident that Trump isn’t a well man and his condition has visibly declined since he has been in office. It’s obvious that Trump is unfit to be president.

Back in 1998–99, over one hundred newspapers called for Clinton’s resignation. Where are they now? Cowards. Trump should resign now!

What makes this distressing situation even more inexplicable is that Deb Fischer, Ben Sasse, Jeff Fortenberry, Don Bacon and Adrian Smith want four more years of this. Fortenberry, Bacon and Smith have even taken a pledge not to criticize the former TV reality star.

It’s time to throw the rascals out. This country can’t survive four more years of a Trump presidency. I would recommend that you do everything you can to help Alisha Shelton, Kate Bolz and Kara Eastman. They will put Nebraska first — not the political interests of an obviously ailing person who simply shouldn’t be president.

It’s on to victory in November! Let’s get it done!
