Trump wants to break his promise not to cut Medicaid

The Trump Administration has proposed to turn Medicaid into a block grant and turn it over to the states. Turning Medicaid into a block grant would result in program cuts that would hurt senior citizens and the disabled. Many people mistakenly believe that Medicaid mainly benefits the poor. In reality, approximately 60% of Medicaid payments go for nursing home payments for the middle class.

Medicaid — along with Social Security and Medicare — was on the list of things Trump promised not to cut. Please call our representatives and request that Trump keep his promise.
